My name is Zara and I run The Dog House, Southbourne.

Since opening in January 2024, we have been dedicated to providing a loving and safe environment your furry friends. Our resident dogs, Clover and Herbie, are here to warmly welcome all new dogs and ensure they feel right at home.

Whether you're looking for a dog walker, boarding, or simply a place for your dog to socialise, we're here to help.

We are fully licensed by BCP council (licence number: AAL 151149) and insured by Protectivity.

Our Services

Walkies

Welcome to our professional dog walking services. We offer both group and individual walks in scenic locations such as the beach, forest, and riverside. Your dog will benefit from fresh air, exercise and enrichment while enjoying social interactions or receiving dedicated attention.

Day Care

Our doggy daycare provides a secure and nurturing environment for up to 5 dogs. Our daily routine includes two walks per day (weather permitting) and a variety of enrichment activities tailored to meet your dog's individual needs, all within a home environment. We aim to be the ideal home away from home while you're at work or away for the day.

Overnight Boarding

Our home boarding offers an ideal alternative to kennels. Dogs that stay us will be integrated into our regular daycare routine and treated as a member of the family. We are dedicated to providing a safe environment that ensures your dogs security and happiness while you're away.
